Writing Guidelines
Please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth approval process for your blog post.
- Minimum article word count: 800 words
- Up to 3 links allowed (1 do-follow & max 2 no-follow)
- Include at least ONE link to a relevant HeadsUp News post
- Engaging, unique, and well-formatted content required
- Provide sources for any statistics
- Credit the original author for quotes/references
- Properly format titles and headings
- Submit at least one featured image, along with the use of other relevant images, charts, and infographics
- Include key takeaways to keep readers interested
What type of articles do we accept?

- What is the main point of the article?
- Include five bullet points on why this topic is important and interesting to our readers.
- Please make sure this topic is related to the business, technology, entertainment, lifestyle, education, health, finance, real estate, or sports categories and that we haven’t covered it before. (use the search option available on headsupnews.com)
- How is this relevant and timely? Ex: A couple of lines including a link to a study, reliable source news article, etc.
- Include potential sources: relevant reports, links, and articles that you’ll use as sources for your post
- Expert interview/opinions: please include idea/contact info for interviewee(s)
